Easy and economical. Only 2 of us and we need dishes we can fix for the family that are good and don't break the bank. Love the fact that I do not have to heat up the kitchen on hot days.

I was looking for something simple for my guest iin the hot weather that was simple and didn't involve heating up the kitchen. This was perfect, and also can be cooked on Low for 8 hours. I served it with potato salad, and it was a hit.

Why would you Spray it with Pam? Even if the inside of the cooker isn't nonstick, its a slow cooker and its not going to stick or burn considering the ingredients you are using. Aside from that, it was so easy, I made it in my sleep. We had if for breakfast topped with an egg over medium and crushed potato chips and some hobanero hot sauce. My 8 year old like things hot so he opted for some serranos fresh out of the garden. I opted for the banaan peppers. We made a pure maple syrup and kecap (yes "kecap" not "ketchup" BBQ sauce for dipping. The girls forwent the hot stuff but loved the BBQ sauce. Ditch the wheat, too heavy, go texas toast sesame buns, white bread or brioche.

Easy & good. I used the Bold manwich sauce tho. I added coleslaw on the side. Also used the onion flavored buns. All the kids like it , from 4 ,9 yrs & teens. Great for graduations.

Do not use Sloppy Joe....use your own favorite BBQ sauce.
