Cooking the rice for 5 minutes must be a typo

Very flavorful. I make it all the time and I'll be making it for the next potluck at work.

After reading the reviews, I modified by adding twice the cumin and chili powder, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tsp kosher salt. Browned frozen already cooked rice, so used very little chicken broth. Used the Hot Ro-tel, not Mild cause we like Heat. Turned out very good.

very bland as the other reviewer stated. I added chicken bullion , more chili powder, cumin. I also added salt and garlic powder
