Now, you can simply and confidently answer that question of "What's for dinner?" with ingredients you probably already have on hand. What could be easier?

A Peek Into Our Kitchen

Our team of Test Kitchen Experts brings their 50+ years of combined experience to your table with delicious and totally do-able weeknight recipes.

Step 1: Gather Inspiration

First, we sit down with seasonal flavors and trends to get a taste for what’s next. But we do more than just choose our favorites, we think about how to make them right for your time and your table, paring down each recipe’s ingredients and the amount of equipment it takes to make them.

Step 2: To Market

We don’t want you to spend time shopping for specialty items. So we reserve an entire step for making sure our test recipes use common pantry ingredients, like the ConAgra Foods products you’ll find in each of our ideas.

Step 3: Fire Up the Burners

When we get cooking, our kitchen here looks a lot like yours at home – from stovetops to knives, it’s all residential equipment. That’s how we make sure your results can be as quick and delicious as they’re intended.

Step 4: Tasting and Testing

This is clearly the best part – especially with so many experts in our kitchen. If it’s perfect, we post it on ReadySetEat. If it’s anything less, the recipe goes back into the Test Kitchen for a little more love from our chefs.
