1 cup candy melts (Any color you like)
1/2 cup mixed sprinkles
thick bamboo skewer
PAM® Baking Spray
1 pkg (15.25 oz each) Duncan Hines® Joyfetti™ Cake Mix
1 cup water
3 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 container (14 oz each) Duncan Hines® Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
additional sprinkles
lollipops, rock candy, gumballs

SPRINKLE NUMBER: If you are comfortable with free handing the number, do that! If not, find a printout block number that is about 3.5-inches tall. Place printout under a sheet of waxed paper. If the paper wants to roll up on you, spray a little PAM® on the edges to help seal it down.
Melt candy melts according to package directions. Pour into a piping bag or freezer bag and cut off the corner. Trace the outline of the number and then fill in the rest with the melted candy. Working quickly, press sprinkles into the melted candy. Set number aside to set up while you make your cake, about 1 hour.
When candy is firmly set, remove it from the waxed paper and turn it over. Spread a little more melted candy on the back and adhere the skewer to the number. Let stand until firm.
CAKE: Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray two 8-inch round pans with baking spray.
Blend cake mix, water, eggs, and oil in a large bowl with an electric mixer on low speed until blended, about 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Divide batter evenly into pans.
Bake 24 to 28 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire racks 15 minutes. Remove from pans and cool completely.
Place one cake layer on serving plate. Spread about 1/2-cup frosting on cake. Stack second cake layer on top and frost entire cake with remaining frosting.
Press sprinkles around the bottom of the cake and along the top edge. Poke sprinkle number and lollipops into the top of the cake and top with more candy (and candles!). Slice and serve your Joyfetti™ birthday cake!
