I had high hopes for this, despite the naysayers; after all, I love pot roast, love beef stroganoff and thought the idea of adding tomato was an interesting twist. BUT it is too tomatoey!!! It was not even all that flavorful, other than the taste of tomato.
I still think the idea is good and I would definitely try it again without the paste and sauce. If it needed additional moisture I would add beef broth to the crushed tomatoes and maybe some correct the seasoning. It also definitely needs more noodles!
