3 tablespoons firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons canned pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup strongly brewed coffee
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg

Gently whisk together milk, brown sugar, pumpkin and cinnamon in a small saucepan over medium heat until they are well combined and heated through.
To the milk mixture, gently stir in coffee, vanilla, and nutmeg. Heat until steam is seen when stirring. Ladle into 2 mugs and top each with sweet foam.
