The smoky flavor of Hebrew National Beef Franks combined with chicken and seasoned tomatoes for a quick New Orleans-style rice dish

  • PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 3 Hebrew National® Beef Franks (from 12-oz pkg), sliced 1/2-inch thick
  • 1/2 cup frozen chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup frozen chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
  • 1 can (14.5 oz each) Hunt's® Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes with Garlic, undrained
  • 1 can (14 oz each) reduced-sodium chicken broth
  1. Spray 12-inch skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Add chicken, franks, onion and pepper; cook until chicken is no longer pink, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat to low and cook 5 to 7 minutes or until mixture is of desired consistency.

Quick, easy and versatile. Add hot sausage or shrimp and you are on the way to a basic jambalaya. Good meal!

Very good,easy and inexpensive to make.I seasoned the chicken with salt,pepper and garlic salt. Also used eckrich skinless beef sausage since my family loves it.

I made this for supper last night with one change, I used garlic cheese sausage instead of franks. It was quick, easy and very tasty - the sausage gave it just enough spice as neither my husband or I like very spicy foods. We thought it was delicious and we had plenty left over for lunch or another meal.

It was good it make a lot and is very filling. I would put more vegies in it such as carrots or celery but other wise it was simple to make and very good.
