Creamed corn recipe starts with frozen corn cooked in a skillet and finished with a seasoned white sauce with a touch of spicy brown mustard for great flavor

  • 1 pkg (16 oz each) frozen whole kernel corn
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons Parkay® Original Spread-tub
  • 1 tablespoon Ultragrain® All Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup fat free milk
  • 2 teaspoons Gulden's® Spicy Brown Mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  1. Place corn and water in large nonstick skillet. Cover; simmer over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes or until corn is tender. Drain liquid.
  2. Add Parkay and flour to corn; stir to coat. Stir in milk and mustard. Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Stir in salt and pepper.

Make this with fresh corn cut off the Mom always called it fried corn...can make a whole meal with this and some sliced garden tomatoes

Good recipe and can also be made with frozen cut corn, milk, butter, sugar to taste and Greek seasoning salt. All you do is mix all together and bring to a low boil. Corn will foam over, skim off foam and cook to the consistency.
