This is great and easy. I used minced onion instead of chopped onion, I used Classico tomato and basil which cut out the over powering tomato taste of the diced tomatoes and sauce it calls for, and I used shells more than the recipe calls for

This was so easy to make and FAST! Was perfect for me when I was pressed for time. Great that the macaroni does not need precooking! Just the right amount for my family of 4. I used regular tomato sauce and did think it was a tad salty so use your judgement. It does call for no-salt added sauce. I never buy it so just used what I had on hand. The family however did not think it was too salty. It has lots of tomato-y taste so if you don't like so much tomato taste, then it's not for you. I love it as does my family. I think adding some ingredients to suit your taste would be just fine. I would perhaps use some green pepper or zucchini if I had some to use up. Great flavor and will be a recipe I will go to in the future.

my family and friends love this and always ask for me to make for gatherings

My family enjoys this. For all who said they omitted the onion, try a dash of minced onion instead. Gives onion flavor without the stronge onion taste. Also try using rotini instead of macaroni. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with parsley for some color. Yummy!

This is such a quick and delicious meal. Made it the first time for my lunches for the work week. Very few ingredients are needed to make this and I usually always have them on hand. Thanks for such a great go-to recipe.
