A grilled hot dog recipe with buffalo-flavored mayonnaise and fresh celery

Ingredients
  • PAM® Grilling Spray
  • 4 Hebrew National® Beef Franks (from 12-oz pkg)
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • 4 teaspoons cayenne pepper sauce
  • 4 hot dog rolls, warmed
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery

Directions
  1. Spray cold grate of gas grill with grilling spray. Preheat grill for medium heat. Grill franks 5 to 7 minutes or until hot, turning occasionally.
  2. Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise and pepper sauce in small bowl.
  3. Assemble sandwiches by spreading about 1 tablespoon mayonnaise mixture on each roll. Place franks in rolls; top each with 2 tablespoons celery.

To be honest, this recipe was way better than I thought it would be. Mayonnaise and hot dogs was not in my wheelhouse, but with the cayenne, this was surprisingly good. Celery added a nice crunch.

Spicy pepper sauce is terrific. Would've never thought to add celery to a dog, but the crunch it adds is amazing.

I made the recipe. Tasted very good. However, I added the celery to the mayonnaise so it wouldn't fall out of the roll. Yum.
