Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb. thin sliced beef (flank steak is best)
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch + more if needed
- 2 tbsp. canola oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 lb. Birds Eye® Steamfresh Broccoli Florets
- 1/4 lb. Birds Eye Steamfresh Super Sweet Corn
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp. sugar (or brown sugar)
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 cup chicken stock
- MSG (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp. ginger
- Rice (to serve)
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine beef, baking soda, oyster sauce, cornstarch, canola oil, and salt.
- In a wok over medium-high heat, sear beef several minutes until just barely fully cooked through. Set aside.
- Add Birds Eye Steamfresh Broccoli Florets and Birds Eye Steamfresh Super Sweet Corn to wok with water and cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes until vegetables are heated through, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, white pepper, sesame oil, chicken stock, and MSG.
- In the same wok, add garlic and ginger and sauté until light golden brown.
- Add sauce from bowl to deglaze wok. Over medium heat, thicken sauce using a bit of extra cornstarch if needed.
- Add beef, Birds Eye Steamfresh Broccoli Florets, and Birds Eye Steamfresh Super Sweet Corn to wok and stir.
- Serve over rice with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
