Uncooked egg whites. I would have never guessed.
This recipe is good but you can make it better by simply using unsweetened almond milk (non-dairy so it helps for those who cannot tolerate lactose).
I add a scope of vanilla-flavored whey protein powder and replace the OJ with various berries.
This cuts sugar considerably.
You can also make this with:
one scoop of whey protein powder
1 and 1/2 cups of fresh or frozen berries
6 oz water and a few ice cubes.
Blend on high.
To increase nutrients had a cup of freshly chopped kale, parsley, spinach or other dark greens.
