A unique spaghetti casserole -- Chef Boyardee Spaghetti and Meatballs layered with cheese on a biscuit base, topped with pepperoni and baked together for a flavorful 'pizza' style dish

Ingredients
  • PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1-1/4 cups original baking mix
  • 1/2 cup reduced fat (2%) milk
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) Chef Boyardee® Spaghetti & Meatballs
  • 3/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/3 cup sliced turkey pepperoni

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray. Combine baking mix and milk in medium bowl; stir until soft dough forms.
  2. Drop dough by spoonfuls on bottom of baking dish (will not completely cover bottom). Spoon 1 can spaghetti and meatballs over dough and sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese. Top with remaining can spaghetti and meatballs, remaining 1/4 cup cheese and pepperoni.
  3. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until dough is done in centers and browned.
Cook's Tips

Add your favorite pizza toppings, if desired. Get the kids involved with preparation; they can prepare the dough, layer the ingredients and top the dish with pepperoni. 'Original baking mix' is a pre-mixed, multi-purpose baking mix, commonly with sugar, salt, butter or oil and leavening agents added. You can prepare your own at home, from common pantry staples, or for your convenience purchase in the baking aisle of your local grocery store (near the flour).

GREAT IDEA! I will use this recipe with my OWN homemade leftover spaghetti and meatballs but when my kids were "little", their favorite meal was Chef Boyardees S[aghettios and it was a REAL timesaver for a Mother of FIVE! (PS--They alll grew up both slim and healthy! We didnt know about processed foods "harm" back in the 1960's!)

Real recipes do not include processed and pre-made "foods" as part of the ingredients. Gross...

This recipe would probably be better, or at least just as good for picky eaters, using leftover spaghetti. Sometimes I just make too much and the leftovers are always good. So why not use the same recipe? My children would love it. Using the Chef Boyardee is a timesaver, and it isn't something you use every day; I'm pretty sure the "bad ingredients" someone whined about won't harm anyone if you try it once or twice. Sheesh! Stop the whining already!

Why do people have to hate? If you don't like it don't read it or make it. It's that simple. Just be nice. I'm rating this a high five star dish just because of all you not so nice people. I have tried this and will try it again and feed all of the 50 and up people in my house and they don't complain.

Would never try this. Totally ridiculous. Expensive and unhealthy ingredients
