  • 1 pkg (16 oz each) frozen green peas
  • 1/2 cup chopped fully cooked bacon
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Gulden's® Spicy Brown Mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions
  1. Melt Parkay in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add peas; cook 5 minutes or until slightly thawed, stirring frequently. Add bacon, brown sugar, mustard and pepper; cook 3 minutes more or until hot.

As always, I try to make recipes a little easier or healhier. With this one, I used turkey bacon in place of bacon and cooked it crispy like my family likes it. I also used a can of no salt added peas. I wasn't sure about the spicy brown mustard with my kids, but they really enjoyed it. It was an easy way to get them to eat their veggies! Who does like something when you add bacon!

My family loved this recipe. It was easy to make and a very delicious side dish. The peas and bacon go great together and the mustard gives it a really good taste. Its a good way to get picky eater to eat vegetables. Will definitely recommend this to my family members.
