Place the chicken and entire can of Manwich® into a large plastic bag; marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
Heat grill to medium. Open 16-ounce can of Manwich® and place in small heat-proof bowl with a basting brush. Remove chicken from marinade, discard bag. Place the carcass end of the chicken around the can of beer and place it on a cast iron skillet. Place skillet with chicken on preheated grill, cover and grill for 65 to 70 minutes, basting with Manwich® sauce every 15 to 20 minutes. Once chicken is browned and cooked throughout, carefully remove cast iron skillet from grill and allow to cool. Lay chicken down on skillet or serving plate and gently remove beer can. Cover with foil; keep warm.
Increase heat on grill to high. Place a large, heatproof saute pan directly onto hot grill. Add olive oil and heat until hot. Add bell peppers and onions, and cook until softened & browned, stirring often. Once cooked, carefully remove saute pan from grill. Serve alongside carved chicken.
