I usually do not buy the seasoned tomatoes but usually have petite diced tomatoes on hand as I use them for so many things. I added my own oregnao, basil, onion, garlic and since I did not have any ground beef on hand I left it out. It was great!!! I will definitely make it again!!!

I made this sauce and was blown away by the taste from such an easy recipe. Planning to use it tonight in egg plant parmesan.

I have been making this sauce for years and it's the only one my kids will eat. Absolutely delicious and I don't change anything on the recipe.

I usually buy Prego in the Sam's Club sized bottles and end up throwing half of it away. My kitchen is on empty and I was trying to patch together something for dinner so I didn't have to go out. Had one can of Hunts tomato sauce. I adjusted this recipe just slightly as I did not have the can of diced tomatoes. I added a pinch of sweet basil, a pinch of Italian seasoning and a pinch of garlic salt. I also used about a 1/2 tablespoon of white sugar instead of any brown. My kids LOVED this recipe. THANK YOU dollar can of Hunt's!!!
