I make this with homecooked black beans and a larger can of tomato sauce. I also add in either fresh or a drained can of corn. My family isn't big into chili but they love this. It's also the only way I can get them to eat some veggies.

Delicious with Krusteaz Honey Corn Bread. I used Rotel mild diced tomatoes with green chilies in place of plain canned tomatoes, lite salt, and used the white kidney beans, and ground beef (cheaper) instead of red plus cooked the onion, and meats then wicked off the fat in a colander lined with paper towels before adding remaining ingredients. I was unable to find Hot Italian turkey sausage where I live in Colorado so used Italian pork sausage.

I BROWNED THE MEAT THEN PUT ALL IN THE FOOD PROCESSOR. MADE A SAUCE CONSISTENCY. IT IS AWESOME FOR CONEY ISLAND HOT DOGS.

The recipe of chili con carne seemed easy to make for my teenagers. It also tasted great over cornbread. I am excited to share this recipe with my friends and family. Who knew chili could tast this good?
